David C. Westgate

David C. Westgate

Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer

As Chairman, President, and CEO of Jason, David C. Westgate oversees a global family of manufacturing companies with 34 locations in the U.S. and 12 foreign countries. Jason companies lead the Finishing, Seating, Components, and Automotive Acoustics manufacturing markets.

One of Mr. Westgate’s key initiatives at Jason is the launch of the Jason Business System, a set of shared principles and process that foster best-in-class collaboration throughout the Jason family. JBS helps Jason companies out-execute the competition on everything from daily cost and overall quality to innovation and continuous improvement. He also led a successful global rebranding of Jason.

Mr. Westgate came to Jason from Rieter Automotive, a tier one global automotive supplier, where he was the CEO of Rieter’s Business Group Americas. He has also served as president of Inergy Automotive Systems and in a key leadership role at Rockwell International’s Off-Highway Products and Driveline Division.

Mr. Westgate earned his M.B.A. with Dean’s Award honors from the University of Notre Dame.

Chief Financial Officer

A senior financial executive with diverse experience in the automotive, construction equipment, chemical, and electronics industries, Steve Cripe has a proven track record of helping companies increase revenues, profitability and cash flow, improve operational performance, and create a culture committed to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Mr. Cripe’s extensive international and acquisition experience includes roles as CFO, Gear Products at Rexnord Industries, Group Controller at Manitowoc Crane Group, SVP & CFO for Grove Worldwide, VP – Finance at Tenneco Automotive, and other senor leadership positions. Mr. Cripe received a B.B.A. – Accounting from Marquette University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Dave Cataldi

Dave Cataldi

President, Jason Acoustics and Jason Components

David Cataldi, President, Janesville Acoustics, came to the company in March 2005 from Textron, where he spent 18 years in the automotive division in various leadership roles. He also worked at Sanmina-SCI, developing its automotive business.

At Janeville Acoustics, Mr. Cataldi has focused on developing and implementing a new strategic direction that gives the company a platform for vigorous global growth, including into emerging markets such as India and Russia.

Mr. Cataldi received a B.E. in Industrial Engineering from Youngstown State University and an M.B.A. from Southern New Hampshire College.

Sean Cummings

Sean Cummings

President, Milsco Manufacturing Company

Sean Cummings, President, came to Milsco in 2008 with nearly 25 years of multinational experience including 12 years at Brunswick, where he served in a variety of leadership positions. Mr. Cummings lived and worked in Saudi Arabia, France, Canada, and England and brings a wealth of business and organizational development, marketing, and innovation expertise to the company. His aim is to make Milsco an undisputed global choice for products, services, and career opportunities.

Mr. Cummings holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Dr. Florestan von Boxberg

Dr. Florestan von Boxberg

President, Jason Finishing Group

Before joining Jason Finishing Group (JFG) as president in 2010, Dr. Florestan von Boxberg was president of Osborn Unipol International, where he started in 2006. At JFG, Dr. von Boxberg’s primary responsibility is to find new ways to apply the principles of collaborative manufacturing and grow the company’s business worldwide. As president, he oversees 19 sites, two joint ventures and employees in 19 countries across four continents plus India – who serve more than 30,000 customers in more than 500 industries with 100,000-plus products sold in more than 120 countries.

Dr. von Boxberg has both an M.B.A. and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Hamburg.

John J. Hengel

John J. Hengel

Vice President of Finance

John J. Hengel joined Jason as VP-Finance in June 1999. Prior to that he was a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he helped clients improve internal controls, operating efficiencies and financial reporting and advised clients on mergers and acquisitions. At Jason, Mr. Hengel has overall responsibility for the Company’s Treasury and Taxation functions, including worldwide banking relationships, financing, cash management and investment activities, customer and supplier credit communication programs, tax compliance and strategic tax planning. He worked closely with CEO David Westgate on the development of the Jason Business System and led the $35 million strategic acquisition of Lippert-Unipol GmbH.

Mr. Hengel, a Certified Public Accountant, graduated Magna cum Laude with a B.S. in Accounting from Carroll University. A member of both American and Wisconsin Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, he is a past Director and Treasurer of the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum, the Walker’s Point Center of the Arts, and the Brookfield Soccer Association, and currently serves as Treasurer of the Athletic Association of Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in Milwaukee.

William P. Schultz

William P. Schultz

General Counsel

William P. Schultz joined Jason as Corporate Counsel in June 2007 and was appointed General Counsel in January 2009. Mr. Schultz is responsible for managing all of Jason’s legal matters, and he works directly with Jason’s senior management to develop practical and lawful solutions to Jason’s legal issues.

Prior to joining Jason, Mr. Schultz was an attorney in the Business Law Department of Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c., where he advised a wide range of businesses and business owners on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and other corporate law matters.

Mr. Schultz received his B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy, with distinction, and his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. A member of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin, he serves as the Chair of its Chapter 180 ABA Subcommittee, which reviews changes to the Model Business Corporation Act and proposes amendments to Wisconsin's business corporation statutes. Mr. Schultz was selected for inclusion in the Wisconsin Super Lawyers – Rising Stars Edition 2008.
