Chief Executive Officer
Prior to being named Chief Executive Officer, Brian Kobylinski served as President & Chief Operating Officer since April 8, 2016. Before joining Jason, Mr. Kobylinski served as Executive Vice President, Energy Segment and China for Actuant Corporation based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During his 23 years with Actuant, Mr. Kobylinski progressed through a number of management roles, including Vice President – Industrial and Energy Segments, Vice President – Business Development and Global Business Leader – Hydratight. Mr. Kobylinski received his masters of business administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and his bachelors of art from St. Norbert College.
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Chad Paris joined Jason in June 2014. He previously held roles as the company’s Vice President of Investor Relations, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Director of External Reporting. Prior to joining Jason, he was an audit senior manager with Deloitte & Touche LLP in Milwaukee serving clients in the manufacturing and financial services industries. He is a certified public accountant in Wisconsin.
Mr. Paris earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance and real estate and a Master of Science degree in management with a concentration in accounting, both from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Acoustics
Srivas Prasad has served as Senior Vice President and General Manager – Acoustics since January 2016. He previously served as the President of the Seating segment since June 30, 2014 and served in the same position of Jason Incorporated since April 2014. Prior to serving as the President of the Seating segment, he served as Vice President – Business Development from 2011 to 2014 and held key leadership positions in Jason Incorporated’s Acoustics segment from 2006 to 2010.
Mr. Prasad holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Bangalore University and a masters in engineering from Lamar University.
Thomas Doerr, Jr.
Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Thomas Doerr, Jr. has served as Vice President since January 2016 and as General Counsel and Secretary since November 2015. Prior to joining Jason, Mr. Doerr served as Associate General Counsel for The Manitowoc Company, Inc. (NYSE: MTW) where he was responsible for overseeing the legal matters for Manitowoc’s crane segment. Mr. Doerr joined Manitowoc in 2006 as legal counsel; in 2008 he expatriated to London, England, and in 2009 to Lyon, France where he was serving as Assistant General Counsel – International and responsible for all legal matters for both Manitowoc’s crane segment and Manitowoc’s foodservice segment in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. He later moved back to the United States and assumed global legal responsibility for Manitowoc’s crane segment. While at Manitowoc, Mr. Doerr was closely involved in numerous of the company’s domestic and international alliances, acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to joining Manitowoc, he was with the law firm von Briesen & Roper, s.c. in the firm’s Milwaukee office with a broad-based practice focused on both corporate and real estate matters.
Mr. Doerr is a graduate of Marquette University Law School and the University of St. Thomas.
Vice President of Tax and Treasury
John Hengel has served as Jason Industries’ vice president of tax and treasury,and assistant secretary since June 30, 2014, and previously served as vice president of finance at Jason Incorporated since 1999. Prior to joining Jason, Mr. Hengel was a director in the audit and business advisory services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from 1992 to 1999.
Mr. Hengel is a certified public accountant and a member of both the American and Wisconsin Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Carroll University.
