About Metalex
Metalex is the largest producer of expanded metal in North America and a recognized specialist in the perforated metal market. Our products are used in everything from speaker grilles to outdoor fencing, recreational equipment, patio furniture, lighting, and air and fluid filtration.
We produce expanded and perforated metals in coils, sheets, and blanks, as well as various tube designs — perforated and louvered spiral lockseam, welded, and more. We also offer secondary services such as stamping, painting, anodizing, vapor degreasing, plating, shearing, and plasma cutting.
A central Midwest location allows us to offer cost-effective, proximity-based manufacturing to customers throughout North America. We also have the knowledge, flexibility, and equipment base to anticipate and quickly adapt to changing customer requirements.
